A.M.E.B. and A.N.Z.C.A. Examinations
Students may be recommended by their teachers to sit for an examination conducted by the Australian Music Examination Board (A.M.E.B) or by the Australian and New Zealand Cultural Arts (A.N.Z.C.A.).
The decision to enter students into these examinations is at the discretion of the teacher and a decision is made only after consultation between the teacher and the student/parents.
The A.M.E.B. and the A.N.Z.C.A. charge an examination fee and these are in addition to the term fees.
As Music Time School is a registered examination centre for the A.M.E.B and the A.N.Z.C.A, all examinations for piano, organ and keyboard might be held at Music Time School.
Examinations for all other instruments will be held either at the A.M.E.B studios, Auburn Road Hawthorn or other venues designated by the particular examination body.
Concerts
A mini-concert is held periodically 3 to 4 times throughout the year at Music Time School. Concerts are not compulsory but are a great opportunity to build a self-confidence feeling for students to perform in front of parents, family and friends.
Music Time School also encourages students to participate in the musical events conducted by other institution in the area throughout the year.
