Chenchen Chen

Chenchen is an accomplished guzheng player with a passion that began in Grade 5 at the Fuzhou Children’s Palace. Having achieved an Amateur Grade 9 (Excellent), Chenchen’s journey with the Guzheng spans a variety of notable experiences. During primary school to junior high, Chenchen performed extensively as a member of the Fuzhou Xiaomi Art Troupe, showcasing both skill and dedication. This path led to admission to the Affiliated High School of Minjiang University, where her musical talent shone brightly in provincial competitions, earning her a top honours including an amateur first prize and a prestigious gold medal at the national level.

Throughout university, Chenchen participated in numerous significant events such as school anniversaries and military sympathy performances as a member of the school orchestra. Beyond performance, Chenchen also possesses a shared expertise in teaching, serving as a zither sparring partner during her undergraduate studies. As a teacher, Chenchen accepts players of all ages and proficiency levels, and is eager to teach students the joys of guzheng.
