Rebecca Zhu

Rebecca Zhu is a dedicated Piano Teacher with a rich history of nurturing students of diverse abilities and ages. With a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Adelaide and ongoing pursuit of a Master’s degree in Arts Education at the University of Melbourne, Rebecca brings a comprehensive understanding of music pedagogy to her teaching practice. Her passion for music education is complemented by notable achievements, including second prizes in the Adelaide Eisteddfod Society in Section P252 Prelude and Fugue, as well as receiving an Honourable Mention in Chinese traditional composition. These accolades reflect Rebecca’s commitment to excellence and her ability to excel both as a performer and educator.

With a solid foundation in music theory and performance, Rebecca elevates students’ technical proficiency and artistic expression through a supportive teaching style and a challenging curriculum. Having served as a Private Piano Teacher, Rebecca honed a rigorous program focusing on in-person coaching and structured at-home practice to enhance students’ abilities. This experience also instilled values such as diligence and determination, enabling students to tackle advanced pieces and performances with confidence.
