Saxophone Teacher

As a specialist in classical saxophone and recent graduate from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (tutelage of Joseph Lallo and Martin Hemingway), Jason is equipped with a wealth of knowledge gained through masterclasses with renowned international saxophonists such as Nikita Zimin (RUS), Vincent David (FRA) and Philippe Geiss (FRA). He applies what he has learnt with his students whilst adapting to each learner’s personality and musical progress, ensuring that his students not only develop musically but also enjoy the process.

Jason is a regular participant and performer at the Melbourne International Saxophone Festival and attended the Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy and Singapore Saxophone Symposium in 2019 under grant from the University of Melbourne. During his study, Jason has also participated in the university wind ensembles, saxophone ensemble and quartets. His most recent muse has been to discover saxophone pieces written by composers of Chinese heritage.
