Melinda Huang

Melinda is a dedicated and experienced piano teacher with over 20 years of teaching, performance, and accompaniment experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music and Arts (Psychology) and a Master of Music Studies (Performance/Teaching) from the University of Melbourne, combining a deep understanding of music with insights into learning and development.

Since 2000, Melinda has offered private piano and theory lessons to students of all ages, while also working as a professional accompanist for exams, performances, and competitions. She has also worked as a group music teacher within a global musical education corporation since 2015. Her approach blends structured, curriculum-based teaching with a personalised, student-focused style that nurtures confidence, musicality, and technical skill. Melinda is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel supported and inspired to reach their musical goals.
