A passionate educator and accomplished performer, Terence brings a wealth of international experience in instrumental music education and performance. Having studied under distinguished pedagogues across Europe and Australia, he combines diverse teaching philosophies with a student-centred approach that nurtures technical mastery, artistic expression, and self-discipline. His teaching philosophy emphasizes cultivating healthy, sustainable study habits that empower students to apply the discipline and creativity of music-making to all aspects of their lives.

With degrees from the Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen, Conservatoire de Bordeaux Jacques Thibaud, and the University of Melbourne, Terence holds advanced qualifications in saxophone performance, chamber music, and band conducting. In addition to maintaining a thriving private studio across Europe and Australia, he has taught at Glen Waverley Secondary College and led students to success in VCE Performance and AMEB examinations. As an active freelance performer, he has appeared at international festivals including the World Saxophone Congress (Gran Canaria 2022; Harbin 2025) and collaborates with ensembles such as the Melbourne Saxophone Ensemble and Transitions Trio.

As a performer, he has been featured in numerous recitals and ensemble projects across Europe and Australia, including appearances with Ensemble Saxophone Bordeaux Nouvelle-Aquitaine and performances for 3MBS The Talent. Through his diverse international engagements and artistic versatility, he continues to build a dynamic performance career that reflects both his technical mastery and deep passion for musical expression.
